Hello Family and Friends,

I’m excited to level up my impact by participating in Autism New Jersey’s Do-A-Thon, running through June 30, 2025! This event is all about taking action and celebrating the unique strengths of individuals with autism. I have created my own “A-Thon” to push myself and make a difference.

All humans are unique, offering an infinite spectrum of differences. To borrow a phrase from AutismNJ, “in the spirit of embracing our differences and honoring the strengths and challenges that make us unique,” I have created a personal fundraiser for Autism awareness called UniqueSprouts(A-Thon). For each donation made I have enlisted the generous help of The Dwyer family of the Morganville Flower Farm and the students and staff, “The Steam Team”, from Cambridge Park Elementary School in Matawan/Aberdeen to plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables and herbs in our community garden as a reminder to promote awareness, acceptance and partnership as a means to bettering the lives of all who journey forward here.

This event is important to me for so many reasons, first and foremost because I love someone with ASD. I am both the mother of and an educator for special needs children and have found so much gratitude and love in giving back to a population and organization that has been with me since day one.
