Welcome to My Continuing Adventure
Andy Abere
Andy Abere
Hello Family and Friends,
I am back at it! I’m participating in the 2025 Autism NJ “Do-A-Thon” this June.
I will be getting on my bicycle one day some weekend in June to ride of our old Ride for Autism routes. The route is 64 miles long, which ties in nicely with my birthday the same month. (Let me know if you want to come along. I like company.)
I will update this once I have the exact date and route confirmed.
Why do I do this? It is my way of giving back to an organization that has helped my family and countless others for years. They have helped us from the day my son was diagnosed over 30 years ago to the present.
As some of you know, the “Do-A-Thon” was created when the in-person Ride for Autism cycling event was not feasible due to the pandemic. The participants in the "Do-A-Thon" carry on the tradition of the Ride for Autism, which started in 2001.
So, please help carry on the tradition. Let’s step up, take action, and DO something amazing for the autism community!
Best,
Andy
