Hello family and friends,
I am excited to be participating in Autism New Jersey's first awareness event: The Do-A-Thon, from April 24-May 1, 2020. Autism is a spectrum disorder which means all individuals with autism are unique from each other. They have different skills, abilities, challenges, and interests. This event is a celebration of what makes us all different.
We have created a team called Parapapapa JJ's Team to do a walk-a -thon. We are excited that this can be an event for our local friends to do or our friend that are all over the country and also across seas. The date for the walk-a-ton is April 24th from 3-4:30. We ask that everyone walk 2 miles anywhere. If you participate please sign up onto our team and post pictures of you doing the walk. For our local friends we will be walking around our neighborhood. We will meet at our house 195 Drift Ave in Lawrenceville and walk 2 miles together wearing masks.
I know there are some affected by this pandemic more than others. If you can donate, I would greatly appreciate it, if not, please be well and know we will get through this together.
